The 4th in-person workshop for the “X-Shooting Ullyses” (XShootU) project will be held during 2.5 days from 7 to 9 of May 2025. The XShootU project aims to obtain optical spectra for all massive star targets observed in the ultraviolet spectral range through the ULLYSES program, thus reaching firmer constraints on massive stellar properties. During the meeting, we will on the one hand hold several presentations about the latest results from XShootU (and related projects), and, on the other hand, have ample opportunity to hold in-depth discussions on topics related to for example
– model atmospheres,
– stellar winds,
– stellar evolution,
– ionizing feedback, and,
– stellar spectral population synthesis modeling
