Abstract
Eva Sommer will speak about the utilization of deep tech to feed 10 billion people. Her talk will cover the path of trial and tribulation from being a mediocre scientist to shaping an entire new sector, the one of alternative proteins.
About Eva Sommer
Eva studied Biotech and Food Science at University of Natural Resources and Life Science and Technical University in Vienna. In 2019 she founded the Belgian-based cultured meat startup Peace of Meat and exited it successfully 1.5 years later.
Now she is building Fermify, a start up that develops a fully digitized production platform to produce cheese with programmed microorganisms instead of cow!
