 ity.Born in 1944 in Austria\, Peter Brabeck-Letmathe graduated from the Un
 iversity of World Trade in Vienna with a degree in Economics. After joinin
 g the Nestlé Group in 1968\, he spent a significant part of his career in
  Latin America\, before being transferred to Nestlé’s International Hea
 dquarter in Vevey as Senior Vice-President. Appointed Executive Vice-Presi
 dent as of 1992 and Member of the Executive Board\, he was in charge of th
 e Strategic Business Units\, Marketing & Sales\, as well as Corporate Comm
 unications.On April 6th\, 2017\, Peter Brabeck-Letmathe was appointed Chai
 rman Emeritus of Nestlé S.A. Previously\, he led the Nestlé Group from 1
 997 to 2008\, first as CEO till 2005\, and then as Chairman and CEO. In Ap
 ril 2008\, he handed over the office of CEO and remained Chairman of the B
