DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Piotr Chrusciel\nhosted by Robert Seiringer\nAbstract:
Einstein equations split into a set of constraints and a set of evolution
equations. One of the most surprising results in the study of general rel
ativistic constraint equations is a construction of Carlotto and Schoen wh
ich allows one to effectively screen the gravitational field in cone-like
sets in the initial data hypersurfaces. In this talk I will give an outlin
e of this construction\, describe the context\, and present some generalis
ations obtained in joint work with Erwann Delay.
