DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Angkana Rüland\nhosted by Robert Seiringer and Matthe
w Kwan\nAbstract: In inverse problems one seeks to reconstruct information
from indirect measurements. As a consequence\, such problems are often no
toriously ill-posed\, e.g.\, with severe instability properties. A prototy
pical example is the Calderon problem in which one seeks to reconstruct an
unknown conductivity from indirect measurements of voltages and currents
at the surface of a conducting medium. In this talk I will discuss a relat
ion between the Calderon problem and its nonlocal counterpart\, the fracti
onal Calderon problem\, and will show how in the nonlocal framework even a
 nisotropic settings can be investigated.
