 tional points of bounded (or large) height on Hirzebruch-Kleinschmidt vari
 eties over global fields. These varieties are realizations of split toric 
 varieties with Picard rank 2\, and their explicit models enable computatio
 ns that go beyond the general expectation of the Manin-Peyre conjecture. T
