  Bio: Thomas Monz went from plumber to a PhD in experimental physics at t
 he University of Innsbruck\, Austria to science entrepreneur. During his P
 hD he was initially working on quantum networks\, to later focus on quantu
 m metrology and quantum computing. Subsequently he worked for a Scottish l
 aser company as technical support for the sales team\, before returning to
  Austria.  There he co-founded AQT as CEO\, together with Prof. Rainer B
 latt and Prof. Peter Zoller. The device offered by AQT holds the record fo
 r the best quantum computer in Europe. The quantum processor\, accessories
 \, as well as entire quantum computers have been sold successfully and rep
 etitively by the team internationally.
