 mposium – WASWe are organizing a one day Astronomy symposium in the Moon
 stone building on 22 October 2024. The scientific symposium is aimed at br
 inging the astronomers at the Department of Astrophysics at the University
  of Vienna and at ISTA together. We will create a scientific program that 
 spans all astronomy topics that are being researched at ISTA and in Vienna
  (covering research on stars\, galaxies\, black holes\, (exo)planets\, ins
 trumentation\, and the Universe as a whole). In addition to talks\, we pla
 n for interactive sessions. The program will start at 9:00 and end with dr
 inks at 17:00. The maximum number of participants is 40.
