DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Markus Gross\nAbstract: Disney Research Zurich started
  in 2008. By now\, more than 50\nresearchers conduct over 90 distinct rese
 arch projects in the fields of\ngraphics\, computer animation\, facial mod
 eling\, video processing\, stereo\n3D\, computational materials\, and wire
 less communication. In this talk I\nwill discuss some of the research proj
 ects we are carrying out in the field\nof modeling and animation. Examples
  include 2D and 3D animation\,\ncapturing and modeling of human faces\, as
  well as 3D reproduction of\nmaterials. Some insight into how the results 
 of our research find their\nway into production will be given.
