 very moment offers a chance for a new beginning. In this spirit\, we are h
 appy to invite you to the first ISTA Spring Festival.The Spring Festival 
 is an internal afternoon event\, which offers the opportunity to meet new 
 (and old) colleagues and have an informal exchange about the many science 
 and non-science related activities that the community of ISTA is all about
 . Details on the program will follow soon. Please register (https://regi
 stration.ist.ac.at/event/sessions?id=Spring_Festival4230641457) for the Sp
 ring Festival and let us know by May 26 if you will attend. Please not
 e that registration is mandatory in order to provide the right amount of
  food. We kindly ask you for a small contribution (EUR 5) which covers 
 food and soft drinks. Soft drinks will be free of charge during the whole
  event. You will be able to buy beer and wine from the caterer during the 
 Spring Festival. You can pay with cash (kindly prepare the exact amount) 
 at the Error Bar from 23 May.Please note that ISTA will donate an amount 
 equivalent to the sum of all registration fees to organizations helping Uk
 rainian refugees. This is in addition to the already announced donation by
  the institute.Error Bar opening hours : Mon – Fri:      9:00 am 
 – 9:00 pmYou will receive a bracelet which you will need to bring to the
  Spring Festival in order to get food and drinks. Sciku ContestAs part of
  the Spring Festival we are opening a call for the ISTA Sciku contest. A S
 ciku (science + haiku) is a short poem about science following a tradition
 al structure of 17 syllables (5-7-5)\, which are often associated with nat
 ure and/or seasonal references. Read more about Haikus and Scikus and get 
 tips for writing them at www.thescikuproject.com (http://www.thescikuproje

 iku as determined by a jury will win an awesome prize! Everyone who submit
 s a Sciku fulfilling the criteria will receive a print of their Sciku on p
