 l technologies. Modern control and monitoring systems in transportation me
 asure data of all kinds\, such as forces\, weights\, loading conditions\, 
 and speeds\, monitor the material stress as well as the wear and tear\, an
 d deliver values for statistical\, cross-linked queries and alarm security
  alerts. An essential prerequisite for this is the acquisition and further
  development of variables and parameters that can qualitatively and quanti
 tatively assess and monitor the transportation systems with regard to phys
 ical bases.\n\nThe increasing demands for transparency\, comfort\, and cos
 t-reduction in railroad-systems present the challenge of continuous optimi
