 : Ran Zhang completed a BSc at Tianjin University and a MSc at University 
 of Science and Technology of China\, both major in Electronic Engineering.
  He joined IST Austria in September 2014 and became a PhD student in Visua
 l computing group at IST Austria\, supervised by Prof. Bernd Bickel. His m
 ain research direction is fabrication-oriented computational design. Durin
 g his PhD studies\, Ran joined the Marie-Sklodowska-Curie Innovative Train
 ing Network DISTRO. He finished three research projects with collaborators
  from different universities and institutes\, published the results on SIG
 GRAPH 2017\, SIGGRAPH Asia 2017\, SIGGRAPH 2018 and ACM Transaction on Gra
 phics. In addition to his academic research\, he helped to create Graphics
  And Mixed Environment Seminar(GAMES)\, an academic seminar series in Chin
 a focusing on Computer Graphics.
