DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Tony Yue YU\nhosted by Tamas Hausel\nAbstract: The Fro
benius structure conjecture is a conjecture concerning the geometry of rat
ional curves in log Calabi-Yau varieties proposed by Gross-Hacking-Keel. I
t was motivated by the study of mirror symmetry. It predicts that the enum
eration of rational curves in a log Calabi-Yau variety gives rise naturall
y to a Frobenius algebra satisfying nice properties\, which is suppose to
be the algebra of functions on the mirror variety. I will introduce the co
njecture in the talk\, and then explain how to use non-archimedean enumera
tive geometry to tackle the conjecture. It is based on my joint work with
 S. Keel.
