 n this talk we discuss some aspects of the local-global principle for inte
 gral points. In particular we will see concrete examples of Brauer classes
  obstructing the Hasse principle and discuss obstructions to the local-glo
 bal principle more generally. Some of our focus will then be on the case o
 f systems of two (inhomogeneous) quadratic equations - or open del Pezzo s
 urfaces of degree four.
