Spring Festival International Day 2024
Dear ISTA community,
With spring in full bloom, it's time to gear up for our much-anticipated International Spring Festival! Prepare yourselves for a day brimming with global delights, vibrant entertainment, and unforgettable experiences. Here's a sneak peek at what awaits you.
International Booths: A big thank you to all the ambassadors who have already signed up to represent Slovenia, Croatia, Belarus, Luxembourg, Ecuador, China, Cuba, Hungary, and Portugal! We're thrilled about the diverse representation.
Global Gastronomy: Indulge in culinary delights from around the world from five loaded food trucks, featuring a buffet with a quick selection of delectable snacks and bites to satisfy your cravings in no time.
Caffeine Fix: Keep your energy levels up with freshly brewed coffee available throughout the event.
Sweet Treats: Treat your sweet tooth to mouthwatering ice cream.
Drinks on Us: Enjoy unlimited soft drinks and two alcoholic beverages per person as we toast to more than 80 nations on campus.
Fun and Games: Join in on various games that promise amicable competition.
Live Music: Groove to the beats of live music.
Program:
- 3:00pm Warm welcome words from Martin Hetzer, President ISTA
- Opening Buffet and food trucks
- Band Performances start: Fusion Latina, Matatu, group of drummers, and a Didgeridoo player.
- World map: Put your fingerprint on our XXXL world map to show where you are coming from.
- International booth quiz starts*: Winners will go in the raffle to win a Pinata
- 4:00pm World games kick off
- 6:00pm International booths are closing and the quiz finishes: The winner of the raffle and the quiz can hit the Pinata
- 9:00pm End of the Spring Festival
- 9:45pm Last Spring Festival Shuttle bus to Vienna
Wrist Bands: Participants who have registered can collect their wristbands from May 20th to May 27th, 2024, at the Event Office (Ground floor Voestalpine building) between 10:00am and 2:00pm on every working day. These wristbands grant access to complimentary food and drinks during the event, so be sure to collect yours within the specified dates and times to fully immerse yourself in the festivities.
