Abstract: Sex cells are considered 'immortal' because they can be transmitted indefinitely through generations. Many genetic factors are essential for maintaining this immortality and ensuring reproductive success. However, much less is known about the information beyond the genetic code, known as 'epigenetics'. In this seminar, I will share our latest discoveries about the epigenetics of sex cells, illustrating how epigenetic processes contribute to the perpetuation of life.
