The Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria) will be the host of the Conference on Controllable Quantum Impurities in Physics and Chemistry (CoQIPC 2017) which will be held from August 16-18, 2017.
The conference will be jointly organized by the Institute of Theoretical Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics (ITAMP) at Harvard University, and the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria). ITAMP has a two-decade history of organizing scientific workshops (https://www.cfa.harvard.edu/itamp/workshops.html), most of which took place in Cambridge MA (USA). CoQIPC - 2017 will be hosted by IST Austria in Klosterneuburg and therefore will represent one of the few exceptions taking place outside of ITAMP/Harvard.
