We will give a brief survey of factorization homology and the theory of chiral Koszul duality. Their application to the homology groups of configuration spaces will then be presented. If time permits, we will explain how the theory of chiral Koszul duality can be used to simplify one of the two main steps in Gaitsgory-Lurie's proof of Weil's Tamagawa number 1 conjecture in the function field setting.
