I will start by introducing geometry of mixed and pure states of arbitrary quantum system from the perspectives of quantum information. Then I show how quantum geometry can be used for studying quantum phases of matter and quantum phase transitions. I will also discuss some applications of quantum geometric quantities for non-equilibrium dynamics and related recent experiments.
