We consider a class of quasilinear PDEs with a stochastic right-hand side that is rather irregular, in particular the product $a(u)\Delta u$ appearing in the quasilinearity is ill-defined. A general solution theory will be discussed and some aspects of the renormalisation procedure will be outlined. Joint work with Martin Hairer (Imperial College London).
